LCA-Tejas completed the 829 Test Flights. out of which 225 Test flights where Tejas went supersonic ,Tejas Lsp-1 took to skyies on 25 of april 2007 and went supersonic and achieved Mach 1.1 in its first flight while the chase plane was tejas Td-2 ,Tejas PV-1 and PV-2 have taken to air after been in hangar for months and the weaponisation process will start soon , project is on a fast track mode, while the agency has successfully conducted sea level tests at Arkonam in Tamil Nadu in last two days.where Prototype Vehicle-3 (PV-3) and PV-2 are flying with sea level test team, Tejas Pv-1 also achieved a milestone when it carried two drop tanks which will start of the weaponisation process, Tejas PV-2 went at Mach 1.6 and achived 6 gs compared to to previous Mach 1.4 at 4.5 gs  ,Tejas LSP-2  will take off by september 2007 it will be fitted with new General Electric's F404-IN20 engines  ,the trainer version of Tejas PV-5 will take off by August 2007 ,PV-5 will be equipped with the inegrated digital avionics suite and related hands-on-throttle and sticks controls plus electronic warfare and communication suites and MMR Radar ,while there has been news that Tejas Pv-4 designation may be removed and instead Pv-5 will take off ,while the reasons given  by Ada was that it was " Administration decision ",

Tejas LSP-2/3/4 are in line to take flight this year this also includes Tejas Pv-5 (Trainer) which is in process of getting a paint job ,while first Tejas LSP will take off by April 2008,Intergration of MMR with Israeli Inputs is going on well ,Astra AAM will also be integrated with Tejas this year ,Astra will be one of the Prime AAM of Tejas in coming years ,while successful flight of Tejas using fuel from drop tanks as been carried out which gives Tejas higher flight endurance , Naval-Tejas is supposed to take air this year but in reality chances are very slim and hopes it makes it flight by early 2009 ,While Hal is confident that around 8 to 12 Tejas will be delivered to Indian air force by end of 2010 which will form the first batch to be delivered to IAF and most be used for Training and user trails and fix any Bugs related to the Aircraft
